Largely disagree with this statement. While I do think that environment plays a role, I absolutely believe genetics play a larger part in my history of being around narcissists. If a parent is one, it's almost impossible not to have a child, at least one, be one as well.

I do agree, though, that education is lacking. You'll notice though, even in school, very young people are often selfish and manipulative. Those who are the worst rarely change.
